Tenancy Information

​​​A holding deposit of up to 1 week's rent.

A tenancy deposit of 5 weeks rent where the yearly rental amount is less than 50,000 per annum.

A payment of 50.00 inc. VAT to alter the tenancy agreement, when requested by a tenant, or reasonable costs incurred if higher.

Interest at a rate of 3% above the Bank of England base rate, for late payment of rent (which is more than 14 days overdue). Therefore a daily rate may be calculated and can be added from day 15 of non-payment onwards but the interest can then be applied back to the day after the due date.

A payment of reasonable costs incurred for the loss of a key to, or other security device giving access to the housing to which the tenancy relates for which receipts will be provided.

Payments associated with early termination of the tenancy when requested by the Tenant.

Payment to service providers in respect of utilities, communication services, TV licence and council tax.

Other payments, permitted under appropriate legislation, including damages.
